The Kominsky Method | Netflix | Brilliant, thought provoking, well made comedy for adults.



Some friendships never get old, says the tagline and that is precisely what 'The Kominsky Method' is all about. Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin star in this story about a couple of senior citizens who are at an uncompromising crossroad that life threw at them at an age that can be considered to be 'old'.
The friendship is beautiful, thought provoking and at the same time funny to the core. Just goes to remind that life is a thousand times easier if you have a funny bone in you irrespective of the situation you are in. I loved watching the series and am eagerly waiting for the season 2.

I wouldn't call myself a sucker for the genre 'horror', nor am I usually inclined to get started on a series if its anything but a thriller. The trailer was interesting yet it was not that enticing. This is why  The Haunting of Hill House  (A Netflix Original) haunted and thrilled me in so many levels. Every aspect of the series, from the writing, cast, background music, cinematography, sets and story are off the charts and is oozing with class. 11.22.63 | Hulu Original | A mystery Sci-Fi Thriller that starts off brilliantly, eases off a bit and then ends with a bang !

Jake Epping  ( James Franco  ) is a high school teacher who travels back in time to 1960, through a time portal that was revealed to him by his friend and cafe owner Al Templeton . The time portal located in Al's Cafe closet lets them travel back to October 21'st 1960 every single time and however long they stay back in the past, its always just 2 minutes that elapses in the present.
